Make the Way Straight

Zechariah/Zechar'Yah chapters 5 & 6 and how these prophecies related to us today

*Time has been set back one year to adjust for House of Yudah's membership into the UN in 1949 CE. Originally I had the time set at 1948 CE when they became a nation, but I see now that they did not put themselves under the Babylonian king’s thumb until 1949 CE. In Yirmiyah 25:12 and Daniy'Yah 9:2, YaHVeH has established a 70 year time line for the king of Babylon to be destroyed.

1 Corinthians: 13:12:  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Scripture is taken from KJV and Revised Standard and edited to remove blasphemous names (Rev. 17:3), words and titles and to give a more Iybriy/Hebrew rooted understanding; edited also because the "Mother of Harlots" has inserted these names to cover up the names of YaHVeH/יהוה and HIS Ben Yahvshua/יהושׁוּע, and to counterfeit a Babylonian Greco-Roman "god", "lord" "Jesus" "Christ"…etc. and promote its demonic idolatrous pagan customs and "holidays" by replacing YaHVeH's Sabbaths (Dan. 7:25).

Zechar'Yah/Zechariah: 5:1:  Then I turned, and lifted up my eyes, and looked, and observed a flying roll.

2.  And he said to me, what see you? And I answered, I see a flying roll/megillah; the length of it is twenty cubits, and the width of it ten cubits.

A cubit is around 1.5 feet. So the flying roll is 30 feet in length x 15 feet wide. Sense this verse is speaking about a roll it is something rolled up so it would have a diameter of 15 feet.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):

Topics: Roll

Text:  the common form of ancient books. The Iybriy/Hebrew word rendered "roll" or "volume" is meghillah, found in Ezra 6:2; T`hiyliym/Ps. 40:7;  Yirmiyah 36:2, 6, 23, 28, 29; Yechizkiyah 2:9; 3:1-3; Zech. 5:1, 2. "Rolls" (Chald. pl. of sephar, corresponding to Heb. sepher) in Ezra 6:1 is rendered in the Revised Version "archives." In the Messianic Writings the word "volume" (Heb. 10:7; R.V., "roll") occurs as the rendering of the Greek kephalis, meaning the head or top of the stick or cylinder on which the manuscript was rolled, and hence the manuscript itself. (See BOOK.)

From e-sword the Iybriy word for “roll”:

(Chaldee); corresponding to H4039: - roll.

T`hiyliym/Psalms: 40:7:  Then227 said559 I, See,2009 I come:935 in the volume4039 of the book5612 it is written3789 of5921 me,

Yirmiyah: 36:2:  Take3947 you a roll4039 of a book,5612 and write3789 in it413 (853) all3605 the words1697 that834 I have spoken1696 to413 you against5921 Yisrael,3478 and against5921 Yahudah,3063 and against5921 all3605 the nations,1471 from the day4480, 3117 I spoke1696 to413 you, from the days4480, 3117 of Yoshi`Yah/Yosiah,2977 even to5704 this2088 day.3117

The size of this “flying roll” in my mind eliminates it being a literal scroll rolled up. Where on earth is there a scroll of this size? Sense it is flying and the length is 30 feet and the diameter is 15 feet it is possible it could be some type of modern invention such as: a plane, jet or a missile...etc. of some type.

Zecharyah: 5:3:  Then said he to me, This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the entire earth: for every one that steals shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that swears shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

4.  I will bring it forth, said YaHVeH of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that swears falsely by MY name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber of it and the stones of it.

Sense verse 4 is speaking about someone or some people swearing falsely by YaHVeH’s name then this must have some type of religious connection. Mattith`Yah/Matthew 24:5 entered my mind when I read this verse, also Revelation 6:1-2, 13:11. Is verse 4 also talking about the third heykal/temple built by the hand of man?  Chapter 6 gets into more detail on this subject.

Zecharyah: 5:5:  Then the malak that talked with me went forth, and said to me, Lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that goes forth.

6.  And I said, what is it? And He said, this is an ephah that goes forth. He said moreover, this is their resemblance through all the earth.

Is the ephah a representation of money? Money is a measure of value. Here in these “last days” the USA dollar has been the dominant currency in the world. I know the EU now has its own money called the “Euro”.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):

Topics: E'phah

Text:  A word of Egyptian origin, meaning measure; a grain measure containing "three seahs or ten omers," and equivalent to the bath for liquids (Shemoth/Ex. 16: 36; 1 Shemuel 17:17; Zech. 5:6). The double ephah in Mishley/Prov. 20:10 (marg., "an ephah and an ephah"), Darbariym/Deut. 25:14, means two ephahs, the one false and the other just.

Zecharyah: 5:7:  And, observe, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman/ishshah that sits in the midst of the ephah.

According to Strong’s Concordance a talent of lead is 91 pounds (troy). Now a woman in scriptural language usually equals the children of Yisrael (physical nation Rev. 12), the body of Yahshua (Ruach Body Rev.12:5, I Cor. 11:2, see article 42) Woman of Revelation 12 ) or an immoral woman (a false/counterfeit/rebellious “church”/body/synagogue/organization/temple/house see article 18) The Mother of Harlots and 77) Christian Sun God Exposed).

Zecharyah: 5:8:  And he said, this is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead on the mouth of it.

Verse 7 mentions the “woman” and verse 8 says this is “wickedness”. So this woman what she is doing is wicked. What comes to my mind when I think of a woman sitting in the middle of something is a woman holding a balance to measure out something, like a scale. So does this woman have control over economy?

This idol is mounted on top of the Washington D.C. Capital building; she is the goddess Columbia, so when you visit Washington D.C. you are visiting the District of the goddess/Columbia.

See the similarities in architecture.

Lead is not a precious metal and not valued as worthy for economic trade. Does this symbolize how worthless this woman’s efforts will be and how worthless her money will be or how worthless she is? Does the lead also signify that her balances are corrupt, she instead of trading with real gold on the balance she is trading with lead, which is worth nothing?  When I read verse 7 I have the impression that “a talent of lead” and the “woman” are one in the same.

Another thing we need to consider is that YaHVeH likens the children of Yisrael to a woman:

{Yesha'Yah/Isaiah: 54:6: For YaHVeH has called you as a woman/ishshah forsaken and grieved in ruach, and a wife/ishshah of youth, when you were refused, said your Elohiym.}

Zecharyah 5:9:  Then lifted I up my eyes, and looked, and, observe, there came out two women/ishshah/nashiym, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the shameh/heights above.

From e-sword the Iybriy word for “stork”:

Feminine of H2623; the kind (maternal) bird, that is, a stork: -  X feather, stork.

Verse 8 speaks of only one woman; verse 9 now is speaking about two women. What comes to my mind now is the event that took place in 1 Melekiym/Kings 11 when YaHVeH divided the children of Yisrael into two houses, the House of Yisrael and the House of Yahudah. I believe we need to consider Yirmiyah chapter 3 when trying to understand verse 9:

{Yirmiyah: 3:1: They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return to her again? Shall not that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to ME, said YaHVeH.

Yirmiyah: 3:2: Lift up your eyes to the high places, and see who you have not laid with.  In the ways have you sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and you have polluted the land with your whoredoms and with your wickedness.

Yirmiyah: 3:3: Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain; and you have a whore's forehead, you refused to be ashamed.

Yirmiyah: 3:4: Will you not from this time cry to ME, MY ABBIY, you are the guide of my youth?

Yirmiyah: 3:5: Will HE reserve HIS anger forever?  Will HE keep it to the end?  Observe, as you could you have spoken and done evil things.

Yirmiyah: 3:6: YaHVeH said also to me in the days of Yoshiyah the melek, have you seen that which backsliding Yisrael has done?  She is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there has played the harlot.

Yirmiyah: 3:7: And I said after she had done all these things, Turn you to ME.  But she returned not.  And her treacherous sister Yahudah saw it.

 Yirmiyah: 3:8: And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Yisrael committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Yahudah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Yirmiyah: 3:9: And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

Yirmiyah: 3:10: And yet for all this her treacherous sister Yahudah has not turned to ME with her whole heart, but feignedly, said YaHVeH.

 Yirmiyah: 3:11: And YaHVeH said to me, backsliding Yisrael has justified herself more than treacherous Yahudah.

Yirmiyah: 3:12: Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, you backsliding Yisrael, said YaHVeH; and I will not cause MY Anger to fall on you: for I am compassionate, said YaHVeH, and I will not keep Anger forever.

Yirmiyah: 3:13: Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against YaHVeH your Elohiym, and have scattered your ways to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed MY Voice, said YaHVeH.

Yirmiyah: 3:14: Turn, O backsliding children, said YaHVeH; for I am married to you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Ziyon:

Yirmiyah: 3:15: And I will give you raah/shepherds according to MY heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Yirmiyah: 3:16: And it shall come to pass, when all you be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, said YaHVeH, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of YaHVeH: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

Yirmiyah 3:17: At that time they shall call Yahvshalam the throne of YaHVeH; and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of YaHVeH, to Yahvshalam: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

Yirmiyah: 3:18: In those days the house of Yahudah shall walk with the house of Yisrael, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance to your fathers.

Yirmiyah: 3:19: But I said, how shall I put you among the beniym, and give You a pleasant land, a beautiful heritage of the hosts of nations?  And I said, You shall call ME, My ABBIY; and shall not turn away from ME.

Yirmiyah: 3:20: Surely as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you all dealt treacherously with ME, O house of Yisrael, said YaHVeH.

Yirmiyah: 3:21: A voice was heard on the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Yisrael: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten YaHVeH their Elohiym.

Yirmiyah: 3:22: Return, you backsliding children/ben, and I will heal your backslidings.  Observe, we come to YOU; for YOU are YaHVeH our Elohiym.

Yirmiyah: 3:23: Truly in vain is salvation/tesh-u-a expected for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in YaHVeH our Elohiym is the deliverance/teshua of Yisrael.

Yirmiyah: 3:24: For shame has devoured the labor of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their beniym and their daughters.

Yirmiyah: 3:25: We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covers us: for we have sinned against YaHVeH our Elohiym, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and have not obeyed the Voice of YaHVeH our Elohiym.}

I believe Yirmiyah 3 firmly establishes who the woman in Zecharyah 5:8 is, she is the whole house of Ya'akob and verse 9 picks up when the House of Ya'akob is split into two houses and become two women, the House of Yisrael and the House of Yahudah.

Zecharyah: 5:10:  Then said I to the malak that talked with me, Where do these take/halaketh the ephah?

11.  And he said to me, To build it a house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there on her own base.

From Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary (edited):

Topics: Shi'nar, The Land of

Text:  LXX. and Vulgate "Senaar;" in the inscriptions, "Shumir;" probably identical with Babylonia or Southern Mesopotamia, extending almost to the Persian Gulf. Here the tower of Babel was built (B`reshiyth/Gen. 11:1-6), and the city of Babylon. The name occurs later in Yudiy/Jewish history (Yeshayah/Isa. 11:11; Zech. 5:11).

Shinar was apparently first peopled by Turanian tribes, who tilled the land and made bricks and built cities. Then tribes of Semites invaded the land and settled in it, and became its rulers. This was followed in course of time by an Elamite invasion; from which the land was finally delivered by Khammurabi, the ben of Amarpel ("Amraphel, king of Shinar," B`reshiyth 14:1), who became the founder of the new empire of Chaldea. (See AMRAPHEL.)

If we now consider what is happening right now in Iraq, we can begin to understand how to apply verse 10 and 11; read articles: 66) UK & USA are the Shepherd Tribes of the House of Yisrael and 19) The Mark of the Beast

Zecharyah: 6:1:  And I turned, and lifted up my eyes, and looked, and, observe, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

Artist rendering of what they think Zecharyah saw in his vision.

I actually think only two horses should be pulling each chariot to symbolize the House of Yisrael/"MY hidden ones" and the House of Yahudah/"MY people" (T`hiyliym 83:3).

 Read article: 56) The Two Olive Trees

Mountains in scriptural language usually means nations (Yeshayah 2:2; Yechizkiyah 2:1 – 3):

{Yeshayah: 48:1: Hear you all this, O house of Ya'akob/"Jacob", which are called by the name of Yisrael, and are come forth out of the waters/mayim/seed/semen of Yahudah, which swear by the name of YaHVeH, and make mention of the Elohiym of Yisrael, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

From E-sword Strong's Iybriy Concordance; the word "waters" rendered in the KJV is "mayim" in Iybriy and can mean:

Dual of a primitive noun (but used in a singular sense); water; figuratively juice; by euphemism urine, semen: -  + piss, wasting, water (-ing, [-course, -flood, -spring])

Verse 1 names the entire house of Ya'akob in the KJV and then says "and are come forth out of the waters of Yahudah", the verse is pin pointing out of the entire house, which contains twelve tribes, one tribe, and that tribe is Yahudah. So, "waters" really doesn't make sense for the correct understanding to be used to properly translate into English; semen would be a better word because it is talking about Yahudah's descendants.

Yeshayah: 48:2: For they call themselves of the kodesh/set a part city, and stand themselves on the Elohiym of Yisrael; YaHVeH of hosts is HIS name.

Yeshayah: 48:3: I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of MY Mouth, and I showed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

Yeshayah: 48:4: Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow brass;

Yeshayah: 48:5: I have even from the beginning declared it to you; before it came to pass I showed it you: unless you should say, my idol has done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, has commanded them.}

Notice Yesha'Yah/Isaiah chapter 48 verse 1; remember what Zecharyah chapter 5 verse 4 said. Who are the people swearing by YaHVeH’s name falsely, the children of Yisrael.

This also needs to be noted. Notice the reference in Yesha'Yah 48:4 "your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow brass." Remember Daniel chapter 4:15 the Word of YaHVeH says HE was going to leave the tree stump with a band of brass and iron around it. Now remember Daniel chapter 2:39 the 3rd kingdom of brass and the 4th kingdom of Daniel chapter 2:40 of iron. Now remember Daniel chapter 7 the 3rd beast a leopard with four wings was Greece. The 4th dreadful beast with iron teeth is the Roman Empire. The children of Yisrael and their religious system is based on these pagan systems. Now remember Revelation 17.

Remember we now established through scriptures that these two women are the House of Yisrael and House of Yahudah (Yirmiyah 3; 1 Melekiym 11). Now in chapter 6 verse 1 we see mountains of brass. If you will notice Yeshayah 48:4 you’ll see that the Word of YaHVeH refers to the children of Yisrael as having a brow of brass. So these two mountains are two nations of the tribes of Yisrael (Yechizkiyah 2:1 – 3). I believe them to be Ephrayim and Menashsheh (UK/USA) the shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael and the House of Yudah the modern day "Jewish State". The Ephrayim & Menashsheh is in the North Country and the House of Yudah is in the South Country from the prospective of Yahvshalam/"Jerusalem" (Yechizkiyah 7:26).

Anciently the tribe of Ephrayim and Menashsheh (Shepherd tribes of House of Yisrael) half tribe were situated North of Yahvshalam and the House of Yahudah was South of Yahvshalam (YaHVeH will restore).

Zecharyah 6:2:  In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;

If you will notice this description is similar to Revelation 6. The difference is that we have chariots pulled by horses and in Revelation 6 we have horses with riders on them. Yes, I believe these descriptions are related but one event is the catalyst for the other. It is because of the events in Zecharyah 6, which leads to Revelation 6 being fulfilled. If you will notice the order of the color of horses is different in Zecharyah 6:2 than in Revelation 6:1 – 4:

{Revelation/Raz Galah/Secrets Revealed: 6:1: And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

Revelation: 6:2: And I saw, and observe a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given to him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Revelation: 6:3: And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, come and see.

Revelation: 6:4: And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given to him a great sword.}

Updated 10/30/6996* [5776] 7th day of the week/Shabbat [01/09/16]

It is the events in Revelation chapter 6 that will lead to the beginning of the “Great Tribulation”. The seventh seal has to be removed in order for the other six seals to occur (The seventh seal unrolls the scroll).  When the first through fourth seals are open (Rev. 6: 1 – 8), which causes the first through four shophars (Rev. 8:7 – 13) to be blown, which causes a malak in their order to be let loose (Rev. 14: 6 – 16), which will lead to the fifth seal to be open (Rev. 6: 9 – 11) which sounds the fifth shophar (Rev. 9:1 – 12), which causes its malak to be let loose (Rev. 14: 17), which causes the first woe (Rev. 8: 13; 9:12), which begins the “Great Tribulation” (Mattith`Yah 24:21), which causes the sixth seal to be open (Rev. 6: 12 – 17), which causes the sixth shophar to sound (Rev. 9: 13 – 21), which causes its malak to be let loose (Rev. 14: 18 – 20), which causes the second Woe (Rev. 8:13), which ends the “Great Tribulation”, which leads to the Seventh Shophar/"Last Trump" being blown (Rev. 10: 7; 11:15 – 19; 1 Thes. 4:12 - 18; All of 1 Cor. 15:51-52), which causes the seven malakiym with seven vials to be let loose (Rev. chapter 15 & 16), which causes the third and final Woe (Rev. 8:13; 11:14; Rev. 14: 1- 5; Rev. 19).

Now back to the color of the horses (Zech. 6:2). The first chariot that comes out has red horses, which I believe symbolizes war (military industrial complex), the red of the horses symbolize blood shed. The chariot that follows the red horses has black horses pulling it. I believe the black of the horses symbolize the color of crude oil and economy. You can read article entitled: 3rd seal and shophar/trumpet to understanding the black horses of Zechariah 6:2 and Revelation 6: 5 – 6.

Zechariah 6:3:  And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.

I believe the white horses pulling the third chariot symbolize false understanding and belief in Yahshua Mashiyach or a messiah and the promoting of it; and the electing of a political leader (Mat. 24:5; Rev. 13:11; Rev. 6:1-2).

Now when it comes to understanding the color of the grisled and bay horses pulling the fourth chariot I believe they are related to military activity and intelligence. I believe that fourth horse in Revelation 6: 7-8, which is pale symbolizes famine and death, I don't believe the grisled and bay horses in Zechariah 6:3 symbolizes the same thing as Rev. 6:7-8. All I can do at this time is give the information I have for these horses:

From E-sword the Iybriy/Hebrew word for “grisled”:

From H1258; spotted (as if with hail): - grisled.

A primitive root, to hail: - hail.

The Iybriy word for “bay”:

Probably from H553; of a strong color, that is, red (others fleet): - bay.

A primitive root; to be alert, physically (on foot) or mentally (in courage): - confirm, be courageous (of good courage, steadfastly minded, strong, stronger), establish, fortify, harden, increase, prevail, strengthen (self), make strong (obstinate, speed).

Text:  in Zech. 6:3, 7 denotes the color of horses, but the original Hebrew means strong, and is here used rather to describe the horses as fleet or spirited.

I believe the color of the grisled and bay horses symbolize the color of the shepherd tribes of the house of Yisrael (USA and UK) military uniforms and equipment and intelligence operations, that is on going.

UK Military in Iraq

UK Soldier in Iraq

US Soldier in Iraq

US Military in Iraq

What I’m beginning to understand now is that the events in Zecharyah 5 and 6 take place in Iraq (Land of Shinar) and the events in Revelation 6 take place in Yahvshalam.

Zecharyah 6:4: Then I answered and said to the malak that talked with me, what are these, my rabbi?

5.  And the malak answered and said to me, these are the four spirits/ruachiym of the shamayim, which go forth from standing before the adon/lord of all the earth.

This is what caught me by surprise when I read verse 5. Notice the verse says “…the adon/lord of all the earth.” Immediately when I read this, this question came into my mind: Who is the adon of all the earth? Than these verses came to my mind:

{Mattith`Yah/Matthew: 4:8: Again, the devil took Him up into an exceeding high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the kabod/splendor of them;

Mattith`Yah: 4:9: And said to Him, All these things will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me.

Mattith`Yah: 4:10: Then said Yahshua to him, Get you away, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship YaHVeH your Elohiym, and HIM only shall you serve.

Mattith`Yah: 8:28: And when He was come to the other side into the country of the Girgashiym/Gergesenes, there met Him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

Mattith`Yah: 8:29: And, observe, they cried out, saying, what have we to do with you, Yahshua, you Ben of YaHVeH? Are you come here to torment us before the time?

2 Corinthians: 4:4: In whom the elohiym of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, unless the light of the doxa/kabad H3513/respectable euaggelion/glad message of Mashiyach, who is the image of YaHVeH, should shine to them.

Ya`akob/"James": 4:4: You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with YaHVeH? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of YaHVeH.}

Updated 12/22/6996* [5776] 2nd day of the week [02/29/16]

The adon of the earth at this time until Yahshua returns is Satan. So do you understand what spirit is guiding, influencing and causing these events in Iraq and around the world?

Zechariah 6:6:  The black horses which are in it go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.

7.  And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you away, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.

The black and white horses go to the north of Iraq.

The grisled horses go to the south of Iraq.

The bay horses seem to be going everywhere on the earth.

Remember these events are related to what the shepherd tribes of the House of Yisrael are doing. USA now has its military spread all over the earth (“walked to and fro”), as well as USA and UK intelligence operations.

Zecharyah 6:8:  Then cried he upon me, and spoke to me, saying, Observe, these that go toward the north country have quieted my ruach in the north country.

Now we come to verses 9 and 10, there is a change in events. The previous verses were associated with war. The events in verses 9 and 10 are speaking about religious procedures. These events start pointing their direction toward Yahvshalam.

Zechariah 6:9:  And the Word of YaHVeH came to me, saying,

10.  Take of them of the captivity, even of Cheldaiy, of Tobi`Yah , and of Yeda`Yah , which are come from Babylon, and come you the same day, and go into the house of Yoshi`Yah  the ben of Zephan`Yah;

(1.) The ben of Shimri, a chief Shimoniy/Simeonite (1 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 4:37).

(2.) One of those who repaired the walls of Yahvshalam after the return from Babylon (Neh. 3:10).

(3.) Knowing YaHVeH. The chief of one of the courses of the koheniym (1 Dibrey ha`Yamiym  24:7).

(4.) A kohen in Yahvshalam after the Exile (1 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 9:10).

Notice verse ten these men are coming from Babylon. If you’re coming from somewhere than you are going somewhere else, where are they going? They are going to Yahvshalam.

Text:  healed by YaHVeH, or YaHVeH will support. The ben of Amon, and his successor on the throne of Yahudah (2 Melekiym/Kings 22:1; 2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 34:1). His history is contained in 2 Melekiym 22,23. He stands foremost among all the melekiym of the line of David for unswerving loyalty to YaHVeH (23:25). He "did that which was right in the sight of the Rabbi, and walked in all the way of David his father."

He ascended the throne at the early age of eight years, and it appears that not till eight years afterwards did he begin "to seek after the Elohiym of David his father." At that age he devoted himself to Elohiym. He distinguished himself by beginning a war of extermination against the prevailing idolatry, which had practically been the state religion for some seventy years (2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 34:3; comp. Yir. 25:3, 11, 29).

In the eighteenth year of his reign he proceeded to repair and beautify the heykal, which by time and violence had become sorely dilapidated (2 Melekiym 22:3, 5, 6; 23:23; 2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 34:11).

While this work was being carried on, Chilki`Yah, the high kohen, discovered a roll, which was probably the original copy of the law, the entire Pentateuch, written by Mosheh. When this book was read to him, the melek was alarmed by the things it contained, and sent for Chuldah, the "nabiy`ah," for her counsel. She spoke to him words of encouragement, telling him that he would be gathered to his fathers in shalom before the threatened days of judgment came. Yoshi`Yah immediately gathered the people together, and engaged them in a renewal of their ancient national covenant with YaHVeH. The Passover/Pesach was then celebrated, as in the days of his great predecessor, Yechizki`Yah/Hezekiah, with unusual magnificence.

Nevertheless, "YaHVeH turned not from the fierceness of HIS great wrath wherewith HIS anger was kindled against Yahudah" (2 Melekiym 22:3-20; 23:21-27; 2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 35:1-19). During the progress of this great religious revolution Yirmi`Yah helped it on by his earnest exhortations. Soon after this, Pharaoh-Necho II. (q.v.), king of Egypt/Mitsrayim, in an expedition against the king of Assyria, with the view of gaining possession of Carchemish, sought a passage through the territory of Yahudah for his army. This Yoshi`Yah refused to permit. He had probably entered into some new alliance with the king of Assyria, and trustful to his word he sought to oppose the progress of Necho.

The army of Yahudah went out and encountered that of Egypt at Megiddo, on the verge of the plain of Esdraelon. Yoshi`Yah went into the field in disguise, and was fatally wounded by a random arrow. His attendants conveyed him toward Yahvshalam, but had only reached Hadadrimmon, a few miles south of Megiddo, when he died (2 Melekiym 23:28, 30; comp. 2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 35:20-27), after a reign of thirty-one years. He was buried with the greatest respects in fulfillment of Chuldah's foretelling (2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 22:20; comp. Yir. 34:5). Yirmi`Yah composed a funeral elegy on this the best of the melekiym of Yisrael (Lam./Eykah 4:20; 2 Dibrey ha`Yamiym 35:25). The outburst of national grief on account of his death became proverbial (Zech. 12:11; comp. Rev. 16:16).

Text:  YaHVeH/YaHWeH/YaHuWaH/YaHUaH has concealed, or YaHVeH of darkness.

(1.) The ben of Cushi, and great-grandben of Yechizkiyah/Hezekiah, and the ninth in the order of the minor nebiyiym. He naba/foretold in the days of Yoshi`Yah/Yosiah, melek of Yahudah (641-610 BCE/4340 -4371 FCA), and was contemporary with Yirmiyah, with whom he had much in common. The book of his nebuah/foretelling consists of: (a) An introduction (1:1-6), announcing the judgment of the world, and the judgment upon Yisrael, because of their transgressions. (b)The description of the judgment (1:7-18). (c) An exhortation to seek Elohiym while there is still time (2:1-3). (d) The announcement of judgment on the heathen/Goyiym/Nations (2:4-15). (e) The expect-less misery of Yahvshalam (3:1-7). (f) The promise of salvation 93:8-20).

(2.) The ben of Ma-as-e-Yah, the "second kohen" in the reign of Zidki`Yah/Zedekiah, often mentioned in Yirmiyah as having been sent from the melek to inquire (Yir. 21:1) regarding the coming woes which he had denounced, and to entreat the nebiyiym intercession that the judgment threatened might be averted (Yir. 29:25, 26, 29; 37:3; 52:24). He, along with some other captive Yudiym, was put to death by the king of Babylon "at Riblah in the land of Hamath" (2 Melekiym 25:21).

(3.) A Kohathiy ancestor of the nabiy Shemuel (1 Dibrey ha'Yamiym/Chr. 6:36).

(4.) The father of Yoshiyah/Yosiah, the kohen who dwelt in Yahvshalam when Darius/Dareyavesh issued the decree that the heykal should be rebuilt (Zech. 6:10).

If you will notice the highlight in red, you can now begin to see what these events are leading up to. Read articles:

83) The Last 7 years of the 70 years of Yirmiyah 25:12 and Daniel 9:2

Zecharyah 6:11:  Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Yahvshua the ben of Yosedech/Yahvzadak, the high kohen;

Easton`s Scriptural Dictionary does not give a short history of this particular Yahvshua/Yahvsha in verse 11. Easton`s does give a short history on Yahvshua who succeeded Mosheh in bringing the children of Yisrael into the Promised Land (The Yahvshua who succeeded Mosheh represented Yahshua and His second coming to place the children of Yisrael back into the Promised Land/Gal. 3:24).

The nabiy Haggai is the best way for us to gain an understanding of these events:

{Haggai: 1:1: In the second year of Dareyavesh the king, in the sixth Chodesh, in the first day of the Chodesh, came the Word of YaHVeH by Haggai the nabiy to Zerubbabel the ben of She-al-tiy-el, governor of Yahudah, and to Yahvshua the ben of Yahvzadak, the high kohen, saying,

Haggai: 1:2: Thus spoke YaHVeH of hosts, saying, this people say, the time is not come, the time that YaHVeH's house should be built.

Haggai: 1:3: Then came the Word of YaHVeH by Haggai the nabiy, saying,

Haggai: 1:4: Is it time you all, to dwell in your covered houses, and this House.

Haggai:  1:5: Now therefore thus said YaHVeH of hosts; consider your ways.

Haggai: 1:6: You all have sown much, and bring in little; you all eat, but have not enough; you all drink, but are not filled with drink; your wrapped with garments, but not warm; and he that earns wages earns wages to put it into a bag with holes.

Haggai: 1:7: Thus said YaHVeH of hosts; consider your ways.

Haggai: 1:8: Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the House; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be kabad/magnified, said YaHVeH.

Haggai: 1:9: You all looked for much, and, look, it came to little; and when you all brought it home, I did blow on it.  Why?  Said YaHVeH of hosts.  Because of MY House that is waste, and you all run every man to his own house.

Haggai: 1:10: Therefore the shamayim over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.

Haggai: 1:11: And I called for a drought on the land, and on the mountains, and on the corn, and on the new wine, and on the oil, and on that which the ground brings forth, and on men, and on cattle, and on all the labor of hands.

Haggai: 1:12: Then Zerubbabel the ben of Shealtiyel, and Yahvshua the ben of Yahvzadak, the high kohen, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the Voice of YaHVeH their Elohiym, and the words of Haggai the nabiy, as YaHVeH their Elohiym had sent him, and the people did fear before YaHVeH.

Haggai: 1:13: Then said Haggai YaHVeH's messenger in YaHVeH's message/malakuth to the people, saying, I am with you, said YaHVeH.

Haggai: 1:14: And YaHVeH stirred up the ruach of Zerubbabel the ben of Shealtiyel, governor of Yahudah, and the ruach of Yahvshua the ben of Yahvzadak, the high kohen, and the ruach of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of YaHVeH of hosts, their Elohiym,

Haggai: 1:15: In the twenty fourth day of the sixth Chodesh, in the second year of Dareyavesh the melek.

 Updated 13/11/6996* [5776] 7th day of the week/Shabbat [03/19/16]

Haggai: 2:1: In the seventh Chodesh, in the twenty first day of the Chodesh, came the Word of YaHVeH by the nabiy Chaggai, saying,

Haggai:: 2:2: Speak now to Zerubbabel the ben of Shealtiyel, governor of Yahudah, and to Yahvshua the ben of Yahvzadak, the high kohen, and to the residue of the people, saying,

Haggai: 2:3: Who is left among you that saw this house in her first kabod/splendor?  And how do you all see it now?  Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

Haggai: 2:4: Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, said YaHVeH; and be strong, O Yahvshua, ben of Yahvzadak, the high kohen; and be strong, all you people of the land, said YaHVeH, and work: for I am with you, said YaHVeH of hosts:

Haggai: 2:5: According to the word that I covenanted with you when you all came out of Egypt/Mitsrayim, so MY Ruach remains among you: fear you not.

Haggai: 2:6: For thus said YaHVeH of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the shamayim, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

Haggai: 2:7: And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with kabod/splendor, said YaHVeH of hosts.

Haggai: 2:8: The silver is MINE, and the gold is MINE, said YaHVeH of hosts.

Haggai: 2:9: The kabod/splendor of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, said YaHVeH of hosts: and in this place will I give shalom, said YaHVeH of hosts.

Haggai: 2:10: In the twenty fourth day of the ninth Chodesh, in the second year of Darius/Da-re-ya-vesh, came the Word of YaHVeH by Chaggai the nabiy, saying,

Haggai: 2:11: Thus said YaHVeH of hosts; Ask now the koheniym concerning the Law/Torah, saying,

Haggai: 2:12: If one handle kodesh  flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be kodesh?  And the koheniym answered and said, No.

Haggai: 2:13: Then said Chaggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean?  And the koheniym answered and said it shall be unclean.

Haggai: 2:14: Then answered Chaggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before ME, said YaHVeH; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

Haggai: 2:15: And now, I ask you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the Heykal of YaHVeH:

Haggai: 2:16: Since those days were, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.

Haggai: 2:17: I hit you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labors of your hands; yet you all turned not to ME, said YaHVeH.

Haggai: 2:18: Consider now from this day and upward, from the twenty fourth day of the ninth Chodesh, even from the day that the foundation of YaHVeH's Heykal was laid, consider it.

Haggai: 2:19: Is the seed yet in the barn?  Yes, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, has not brought forth: from this day will I baruk you.

Haggai: 2:20: And again the Word of YaHVeH came to Chaggai in the twenty fourth day of the Chodesh, saying,

Haggai: 2:21: Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Yahudah, saying, I will shake the shamayim and the earth;

Haggai: 2:22: And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the goyiym/nations/heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

Haggai: 2:23: In that day, said YaHVeH of hosts, will I take you, O Zerubbabel, MY servant, the ben of Shealtiyel, said YaHVeH, and will make you as a seal: for I have chosen you, said YaHVeH of hosts.}

Those who do not believe in Yahshua Mashiyach and His second coming in the clouds (who is now magnified and at the Right Hand of ABBIY), cannot understand that Yahshua when He returns will build YaHVeH’s Heykal, from the symbols and description in Revelation 11 there seems to be a third and final heykal built with the hand of man (only to be destroyed again). Now whether just the mere mention of a heykal by Yudiy officials, or Yudiym on the heykal mount with measuring tapes for construction will set everything off, or even a tent set up for sacrifice, I'm really not sure, because by this time I would have thought something would have already been started on top of the mount. I have heard some say that the Dome of the Rock (which is Islamic) is what scriptures is talking about, but I don't believe that. It's because of the Dome of the Rock that makes even mentioning a third Yudiy heykal to be so controversial. (Yirmiyah 7:4; 22:29; Yechizkiyah/Ezek. 21:27; Daniel 9:25; Haggai 2:9; Matthew 23:37; Matthew 24:1-2; Revelation 11).

Zecharyah: 6:12:  And speak to him, saying, Thus spoke YaHVeH of hosts, saying, Observe the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and He shall build the Heykal of YaHVeH:

From e-sword the Iybriy/Hebrew word for “Branch”:

From H6779; a sprout (usually concretely), literally or figuratively: - branch, bud, that which (where) grew (upon), spring (-ing).

If you will remember it was Aharon`s rod that sprouted (B'midbar/Numbers 17). What position did Aharon hold? What position does Yahvshua Mashiyach now hold (Iybriyiym/Hebrews 7)?

Zecharyah: 6:13:  Even He shall build the Heykal of YaHVeH; and He shall bear the hod/grandeur, and shall sit and rule upon His throne; and He shall be a Kohen upon His throne: and the counsel of shalom shall be between them both.

14.  And the crowns shall be to Helem/Chelem, and to Tobi`Yah, and to Yeda`Yah, and to Hen/Chen the ben of Zephaniah/Zephan`Yah, for a memorial in the Heykal of YaHVeH.

15.  And they that are far off shall come and build in the Heykal of YaHVeH, and you all shall know that YaHVeH of hosts has sent me to you. And this shall come to pass, if you all will diligently obey the Voice of YaHVeH your Elohiym.

What you must remember and understand when you read the Nebiyiym/ancient kodesh Foretellers is that the Word of YaHVeH is going in and out of the pass, present and the future (Revelation 1:4, 8; 4:8). Above all you must believe in Yahvshua Mashiyach so YaHVeH can give you HIS Ruach ha`Kodesh to rightly divide (II Tim. 2:15).
